The name Feliz ♥ Feliz comes from the Spanish word Feliz, which means “happy.”

So Feliz ♥ Feliz simply means “happy, happy.”

It carries a wish —

that the people who hold these creations in their hands may become even happier than they are now.

A little more joy, a little more happiness… perhaps even doubled.

That wish is what gave birth to this brand.

A Japanese Philosophy of Respect for Objects

The idea for this brand first came about around five years ago, during a time when the world suddenly changed and people everywhere found themselves spending more time at home.

As my time at home increased, I began to notice something I had never fully realised before.

The small things around me — favourite accessories, colourful objects, and everyday items — could quietly remind me of happiness.

In Japan, there is a long-held belief that everything has a spirit within it.

People, animals, plants, and even objects are thought to carry a fragment of the divine, and therefore deserve to be treated with respect and care.

Perhaps this way of thinking is slowly fading in modern life.

Yet during that quiet time at home, I was reminded of this traditional Japanese perspective.

A plush toy with a gentle expression, colourful objects, and blooming flowers —

all of them brought comfort and courage when they were most needed.

While many leather products are created from animals that are newly sacrificed, the leather used here comes from animals that had already passed on and whose hides were respectfully tanned and repurposed.

The founder of the brand, who has worked with energy practices for many years, also sends each piece with heartfelt intention and healing energy.
